I started noticing “fashion” when I got out of college. I know, late bloomer. During college, my friends called me “kikay.” I would wear the brightest colors with the brightest accessories. When I met my husband, he described my outfit down to a T 3 years later. A “message” shirt, white skirt, and lime green tennis shoes. How sad. One thing that’s stayed the same all throughout the years has been my love for shoes. I absolutely adore shoes. The reason? I used to be a size 0, then a 2, then a 4, then a 6, and right now, an 8. The one thing that’s managed to stay the same has been my size 6.5 / 7 shoes. I wear clothes that match my mood. Being a size 8 is difficult sometimes because I’m limited to the type of outfits that I can wear to flatter my figure and once I find something that works, I tend to stick to it and fall into the redundancy trap. So what is my style? A work in progress, a trial & error of some sort — still evolving. [[HTTP://astyleinprogress.com]]
